Lisa Cooper is the Town Clerk of Sterling. She has been Town Clerk since 1996 and is presently the Third Vice President of the New York State Town Clerks Association. She has also served as NYSTCA Treasurer and District Director. Lisa has been President, Vice President and Secretary of the Cayuga County Town Clerks Association.
Lisa recently graduated from Cayuga Community College with an AAS Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the Sterling Historical Society. Her hobbies are cross stitching and quilting. She loves counted cross stitch and even won first place for her cross stitch of a Himalayan Persian cat at the New York State Fair in 2008.
Lisa is married to Curt and they have two children. Their daughter Jennifer lives in Austin Texas. Their son Cameron resides in Sterling.
