Dear IIMC Region I Members:
We are pleased to announce and hope you will join us for the IIMC Region I Annual Meeting on February 21 and 22, 2013 at the Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, Massachusetts.
An exciting two day program is planned. An education program is being finalized for Thursday afternoon. The Annual Business Meeting on Friday morning will cover all things IIMC, including updates on the May 2013 Atlantic City Annual Conference and of course IIMC Hartford in 2015! Updates will also be presented by NEMCI&A, the Cornell Institute and Academy, each of our State Associations and more. After the Business Meeting, we will be given a tour of the Amherst College Mead Museum. Region I is also pleased to welcome the New England Association of City and Town Clerks who will be holding an Executive Committee meeting in Amherst on Thursday the 21st.
To keep costs down, we have arranged for a terrific room rate with the Lord Jeffery Inn. Please reserve your room directly with the Inn at 413-256-8200 by January 28th to get the guaranteed rate of $94.00 per room. An additional person in the same room is only $10.00 extra. In addition, we ask you to bring an item for our Annual Teacup Auction on Friday.
